FP&A Analyst

EdgeCore is seeking an Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join its growing Finance team and play a hands-on role in the financial management of a rapidly scaling data center platform. Reporting to the Manager, FP&A, this role will be instrumental in driving the day-to-day reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis that underpin key business decisions. The Analyst will develop and maintain financial models, prepare and present executive-level reporting to senior stakeholders, and partner across the business to strengthen data quality, controls, and process efficiency. Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day production and reconciliation of recurring financial reporting, ensuring accuracy of actuals, forecasts, and budgets across EdgeCore's systems. Heavily support quarterly forecast and annual budgeting cycles, coordinating inputs from department and site leaders, and consolidating submissions into review-ready outputs. Develop, maintain, and streamline financial models for monthly results, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis, improving accuracy, usability, and repeatability. Prepare executive-level reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership and the Board, and present financial results and analysis directly to senior stakeholders. Analyze and explain variances by comparing actuals to budget and forecast, partnering with business stakeholders to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities. Review budgets and approve purchase requisitions, ensuring accurate coding and budget availability. Own and improve recurring FP&A processes, proactively identifying opportunities to automate manual workflows and increase efficiency across the reporting cycle. Support automation and reporting initiatives using tools such as Power Query, SQL and Power BI to manipulate data, build scalable data structures, and automate outputs. Assist in the creation of automation and AI solutions to reduce manual effort and enhance FP&A deliverables. Security is a shared responsibility. Your Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related field. 0-3 years of experience in an FP&A or similar finance-related role, with a strong preference for experience in data centers, telecom, construction, real estate, private equity, or investment banking. Understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP accounting. Proven experience supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles is highly advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to build and manage complex financial models. Understanding of, or proven experience in data tools such as SQL, Power Query or Power BI is highly advantageous. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven information in a clear and compelling manner. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the role. What We Offer Full-time salaried, exempt role : Includes equity compensation and a performance-based annual bonus. Annual base salary range: $85,000 - $95,000, depending on experience. In-office expectations: This role requires in-office presence four days per week. Location: This role is located in downtown Denver, with parking provided at no cost to the successful candidate.
