Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students across diverse educational settings. This position begins in August 2026 and spans the full academic year through 2027. You’ll play a pivotal role as an Occupational Therapist serving cross-categorical student populations at itinerant school sites, allowing you to make a difference at multiple locations each week.
We’re seeking a licensed OT with a strong background across school-based, home health, and general healthcare environments. Bringing your expertise and adaptability will ensure you thrive in this dynamic role as you address a variety of needs for students of different ages and abilities.
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based therapy, home health, and general healthcare settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel between sites as part of an itinerant service model
- Comfortable supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes
- Assess, document, and report on student progress, providing recommendations for accommodations and assistive technology as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
