Transaction Manager

The Transaction Manager will play a critical role in overseeing multifamily acquisitions from signed Letter of Intent through closing. This individual will partner closely with the acquisitions team, legal counsel, lenders, title companies, and third‑party consultants to ensure each transaction progresses efficiently and on schedule. The Transaction Manager will own the closing process while maintaining exceptional organization and communication across all stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities Transaction Management Manage acquisitions from executed LOI through closing, including: Coordinate all aspects of the closing process with buyers, sellers, legal counsel, lenders, title companies, and third‑party vendors. Manage transaction timelines and ensure all critical milestones are completed on schedule. Review and coordinate purchase agreements, closing documents, settlement statements, and funding packages. Maintain closing checklists and oversee completion of all required deliverables. Coordinate escrow, wire transfers, and funding activities through closing. Identify and resolve transaction issues proactively to minimize execution risk. Assist the acquisitions team throughout the due diligence process by: Coordinating third‑party reports including property condition assessments, environmental reports, appraisals, surveys, and other required diligence. Tracking due diligence deliverables and ensuring timely completion. Reviewing documentation for completeness and communicating findings to internal stakeholders. Support the investment platform through: Maintaining the active acquisitions pipeline and transaction reporting. Tracking key dates, contingencies, and closing milestones. Assisting with financing coordination and lender requirements. Supporting investment committee materials and transaction reporting as needed. Developing and improving transaction management systems and processes. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree required. 3–5+ years of commercial real estate transaction management, acquisitions, lending, or related experience, preferably within multifamily. Experience managing real estate transactions from contract through closing. Familiarity with purchase agreements, title and escrow processes, settlement statements, loan documentation, and due diligence coordination. Prior experience with multifamily investments or commercial real estate preferred. Ability to travel up to 20%. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple active transactions simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with attorneys, lenders, brokers, consultants, and internal teams.
