What You'll Do

As a Shift Leader , you'll play a key role in leading daily store operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience:

• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
• Lead, coach, and support team members during shifts
• Operate POS system / cash register (cash, credit cards, EBT, prepaid cards, lottery, checks)
• Follow all cash handling procedures and company policies
• Ensure compliance with alcohol, tobacco, lottery, fuel, and food safety regulations
• Support deli operations and assist with food preparation as needed
• Maintain store standards including stocking, merchandising, cleanliness, and organization
• Promote a safe, secure, and organized work environment
• Assist with loss prevention, safety, and security procedures
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and closing shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, food service, or convenience store operations
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and computer/POS skills
• Reliable attendance and flexible availability

Training & Certifications

• TankSmart Certification (Level C) - training provided
