Job#: 3048229 Job Description: CAD Operator/Fire Alarm Drafter Location: Orlando, Florida (On-site) Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Operator to support our design teams. This role focuses on preparing and revising drawings for fire alarm systems and other low-voltage systems. The position requires working closely with project managers and sales teams in an office-based environment to produce accurate construction documentation. Key Responsibilities Prepare and revise CAD drawings for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage building systems. Support design teams with accurate and organized construction documentation. Perform calculations for fire alarm systems to ensure battery and circuit loads comply with code requirements. Coordinate drawings and design details based on project requirements and contract specifications. Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and quality expectations. Collaborate with project managers and sales teams during kickoff meetings to assign and manage projects. Required Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD. Drafting experience with fire alarm or low-voltage systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience with FireCAD. Familiarity with NFPA 72 codes.
