About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing free immigration-related legal services and advocating for just immigration laws and policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic vision and planning, board development, financial management, fundraising, staff leadership, and community organizing. This role requires a visionary and collaborative leader with a strong commitment to immigrant justice, at least 5 years of experience in a nonprofit leadership role, and a proven track record in fundraising, financial management, and community organizing. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fostering an inclusive organizational culture, ensuring the organization's financial sustainability, and leading efforts to secure funding from various sources. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree (graduate degree preferred), have a validated commitment to immigrant justice, and demonstrate practical experience in designing for equity and inclusion. Fluency in Spanish is a requirement, as is proficiency in digital office technologies and social media platforms. The role demands a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to travel regionally and nationally.
