• Number of Beds - 17
• Number of Staff – 56
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 Charge, 5-6 RN's and 1 OB Scrub Tech
  • Night Shift – 1 Charge, 5-6 RN's and 1 OB Scrub Tech
• Patient Ratios – 1:1 - 1:3, can fluctuate with acuity - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
• Type of equipment – EFM (TOCCO, US), Doppler, Novii
• EMR – Meditech / CPN

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
• BLS, ACLS, & NRP
• AWHONN or NCC-EFM

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Meditech experience
• Willing to Precept
• CEFM
• RNC-OB

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Labor, C-Section, PIT, Magnesium drip, IA
• ECV, Cerclage placement

Best personality Fit:

• Strong teamwork and communication with staff and providers
• Exceptional patient experience skills
