Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 15:00 - 03:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty. License: Registered Nurse license (State or Compact license only). Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NIH, TNCC Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Description: The Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. The department is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department is a designated trauma center and a designated stroke center. It treats more than 60,000 patients per year. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical or trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. Successful candidates will be required to work holidays as needed and every other weekend. Education: An associate degree in nursing is required. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of specialty is required. Candidates with 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, may be considered.
