Job Responsibilities Interact with co‑workers, patients, family, and other staff in accordance with Jefferson values. Show willingness to give and receive feedback and integrate appropriate changes into practice. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Patient‑ and family‑centered practice knowledge and ability to convey respect and collaborate in care planning. Cultural awareness and ability to connect effectively with diverse populations. Effective communication skills, including transmitting, receiving, and interpreting ideas, information, and needs. Proficiency in assessing patient ailments and injuries and implementing a treatment plan. Knowledge of patient‑ and family‑partner education techniques, eliciting learning priorities and providing education about conditions, treatments, and medications. Medication administration and prescription knowledge applicable to inpatient and outpatient settings. Discharge planning knowledge, partnering with patient and family to develop a plan and coordinate follow‑up care. Assessment and diagnosis knowledge, using tools and techniques for patient assessment and nursing diagnosis. Health information documentation knowledge, accurately recording histories, vital signs, medications, treatment plans, and test results in written or electronic form. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in the State of Pennsylvania. Minimum 2 years RN experience required; critical‑care/ICU experience highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications BSN or completion of a BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred. Work Shift & Hours Full‑time, nights – 36 hours per week. Position float between Bucks (primary hospital), Frankford, and Torresdale.
