Insurance Licensed Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

State Farm Agent office in Chicago (North Center) – 60618 seeks an Insurance Licensed Customer Service Representative to support existing customers and help grow the agency. This role focuses on renewals, outreach, relationship maintenance, and proactive inbound/outbound conversations to drive service and sales. We prefer candidates who are within a 30-minute commute to our Chicago (North Center) – 60618 office. Insurance license required or willing to obtain ASAP. (We prefer P&C + L&H, but we may consider motivated, outgoing candidates who are fast learners and results-driven.)

Responsibilities

• Contact customers for renewals, coverage options, and ongoing support
• Review policies/accounts and recommend updates to address coverage gaps
• Cross-sell additional products based on customer needs
• Identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and engagement
• Provide timely quotes and follow up within the same business day when possible
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure efficient, accurate processing
• Represent the agency at occasional community events
• Build a referral network ("center of influence") and generate leads
• Create and contribute to customer reviews (including social media)

Qualifications

• P&C license required (must possess or obtain ASAP) and L&H preferred
• Insurance agency experience preferred
• Strong communication skills (verbal + written) and persuasive customer conversations
• Natural relationship-builder—friendly, empathetic, and patient
• Calm under pressure; proactive problem-solver
• Coachable with a positive, "can-do" attitude
• Reliable, strong work ethic, and fast learner
• Comfortable handling phone/computer work all day

Office Hours

Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no evenings/weekends)

• Base pay (DOE) + incentive pay based on production

Total compensation is uncapped and based on production, active licenses, and experience.

Part-Time Option: Although this is Full-Time, we may consider Part-Time. Part-time candidates must already have at least a P&C license. Compensation: $38,000 – $58,000 (or higher based on production)
