Securify is seeking an Installation Technician I to join our Installation Department. This role is ideal for someone with foundational low-voltage installation experience who takes pride in clean work, follows directions carefully, and wants to develop stronger technical skills.

You will work alongside experienced technicians and installation leads on alarm systems, access control, security cameras, and related cabling. Bring your basic tool skills, safe work habits, reliability, and willingness to learn. We will help you build the skills needed to take on more responsibility.

What You Will Do

• Pull, route, prepare, label, and dress low-voltage cable, including alarm wire, Cat5/Cat6, and camera cable.
• Mount alarm contacts, motion detectors, keypads, and related components under guidance.
• Assist with installing access control readers, security cameras, and other security devices.
• Complete basic device and cable terminations under supervision.
• Assist with alarm panel installation and wiring according to project plans.
• Read simple wiring diagrams and marked plans to identify cable routes and device locations.
• Help install surface-mounted conduit and fittings and pull cable through completed pathways.
• Support basic testing and identify wiring or device issues with guidance from senior technicians.
• Protect client property and keep tools, materials, and work areas organized.
• Communicate progress, questions, mistakes, and safety concerns promptly to your lead.

What You Bring

• Typically 1 to 2 years of hands-on low-voltage installation experience, or demonstrated proficiency in the core skills described above.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, cable preparation, and device mounting.
• Understanding of jobsite safety, ladder safety, and required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work carefully.
• Dependable attendance, clear communication, and respectful conduct with coworkers and clients.
• Willingness to accept feedback, correct mistakes, and apply what you learn.
• Reliable transportation to the Mountain View office and assigned client sites.

Helpful Experience

• Alarm wiring, contacts, motion detectors, or keypads.
• Access control devices or security cameras.
• Basic cable testing or multimeter use.
• Reading wiring diagrams or construction plans.

Work Environment

This is an active field position involving tools, ladders, cable pulling, device mounting, and work in varied client environments. Work may involve standing, bending, kneeling, working at heights or in tight spaces, and lifting or carrying equipment and materials.
