Plant Production Worker

Job Description This position requires the employee to perform a number of functions. These include: product manufacturing, forklift driving, inventory control, cleaning, maintenance of equipment and outside facility, safety, quality control, and communication with other employees. Job Duties: 1. Date each formula and note start time, when complete note end time. 2. Check raw materials before you start any formula to ensure you have enough raw materials to finish the formula. 3. Report to Plant Manager or Office Staff of any raw materials that are getting low. 4. Check that the tanks, hoses, outlet piping, etc. have been completely cleaned and tank valve closed before you start making product to ensure tank is ready for production. 5. Mix raw material in proper order as shown on formula. 6. When done mixing, take a sample to lab to have the proper testing performed to ensure the quality of the product. 7. When product has been approved for shipment, filter product through correct size filter as shown on production sheet. 8. Check formula for correct labeling instructions. 9. Perform final inspection before securing lid. 10. Rinse tank, hoses, and piping of any residue that may be remaining by following the tank cleaning procedure. 11. Clean up after each job. 12. Return raw materials to storage. 13. Clean up buckets, spouts or anything else used to complete the job. 14. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to count and calculate basic math. Pay / Hours: 1. Monday to Friday 2. Day Shift 3. $18.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience.
