Our firm is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in water, hygiene, infection prevention, and sustainability solutions that serves customers across food service, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial markets. We are seeking a Technical Customer Service Specialist to provide frontline technical support, coordinate service scheduling, and assist customers with equipment, software, and operational troubleshooting.


This role is ideal for a customer-focused technical professional who enjoys problem-solving, supporting field operations, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced call center environment. Job Description
As a Technical Customer Service Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, providing technical support and coordinating service-related activities. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate customer scheduling through outbound calls and assist with service appointment management.
• Partner with internal departments to triage customer requests, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support service delivery.
• Provide frontline telephone-based technical support through the Technical Service Call Center.
• Answer basic technical questions related to equipment installation, product application, cleaning processes, and sanitation concerns.
• Perform basic programming and chemical calibration activities for automated control systems.
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of pool pumps, filters, circulation systems, and related equipment.
• Provide recommendations for dispensing equipment and dishmachine replacement parts, including part identification and part number guidance.
• Collaborate with Technical Service teams regarding equipment specifications, part number updates, and product changes.
• Learn and utilize proprietary and commercially available software applications to support customers and internal operations.
• Document customer interactions and support activities accurately within company systems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanical trade, electrical trade, technical support environment, or technical service call center.
• Strong phone-based customer service experience with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience with technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with equipment support, maintenance, or calibration processes.
• Experience supporting customers in a technical service or help desk environment.
• Knowledge of automated control systems, dispensing equipment, or related technologies.
• Experience working with service scheduling or call center platforms.
