Employment Type: Full-time (35–40 hours/week)
Salary: $356,345.50 – $417,497.60/year (40 hrs/week); $311,802.40/year starting base (35 hrs/week)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join a Federally Qualified Health Center located in Riverhead, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to diverse patient populations in a community health setting.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active NY State license, DEA registration, and Board Certification.
• Experience with diverse patient populations in community health settings required.
• Proficient in prenatal care, intrapartum management, postpartum care, gynecologic surgery, family planning, and electronic health records.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, cultural competence, empathy, and the ability to collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care.
• Perform outpatient sessions and surgical procedures.
• Participate in on-call coverage and hospital rounds.
• Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance.
