Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst for its Finance team to work with NBT teammates and other partners to align, optimize, and deliver a fully functional ERP/MES solution to Nucor's Sheet, Plate and Structural Mills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: facilitating discussions between divisions and partners to develop aligned business processes; performing gap analysis and documenting comprehensive business requirements, such as process flows, business rules, interface design, data analysis and data mapping in collaboration with subject matter experts and IT stakeholders; solution design: define design options, analyze potential value, recommend solutions, specify and model requirements, etc.; testing: create test scenarios/scripts (for functional, negative and regression testing) and execute testing in various environments; training: create related documentation and training for both internal and external customers/users.

This is a full-time position with Nucor Business Technology, based in Irving, TX. Project-related overnight travel as needed, up to 50%. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications: 3–4 years of experience in accounting or a finance-related role (public or corporate accounting experience preferred); strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting standards. Immigration or work via sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Qualifications: MBA, CPA, or CMA; public or corporate accounting experience; experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with Oracle EBS and/or PSI; relocation to the Dallas area.
