Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Location: Portland, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description: This is a float pool position requiring candidates to float to multiple different units within an acute care hospital. Candidates must possess extensive acute care hospital experience, particularly in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for basic ICU patients, including those who are sedated, intubated, and on pressors.
• Float to various ICU departments including Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on healthcare professional's experience.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure outstanding patient care.
• Be flexible with assignments, potentially taking on multiple assignments within the same shift as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least 3 years of ICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to float between units with varying patient ratios.
