Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, motivated Part-Time Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Line Cook at Papa Chops Eatery, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, 100% gluten-free meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and culinary quality.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock prep stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Prepare and cook menu items to order in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Strictly adhere to our dedicated gluten-free protocols to ensure a completely safe dining experience for all guests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary working environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, properly labeling and storing food items.
- Perform basic kitchen maintenance and closing duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar kitchen role is preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic cooking procedures, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-player attitude.
- A commitment to our mission of providing a safe, entirely gluten-free dining experience.
