Welder / Fabricator – 3 Day Weekends! (Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday – Thursday (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Enjoy every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!

What You Will Do:

This role is a dynamic 50/50 split between custom welding and fabrication . You will work on a variety of projects rather than doing the exact same repetitive weld all day long.

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Perform MIG welding on aluminum, stainless, and mild steel as needed.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints to lay out and assemble parts.
• Handle general fabrication tasks including grinding, deburring, and operating a laser cutter.
• Use a tape measure accurately to ensure parts meet specifications.

What We Are Looking For:

If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for your craft, we want to see your resume!

• Experience: At least 6 months of professional, on-the-job welding experience.
• Welding Skills: Hands-on experience with both TIG and MIG welding (especially on aluminum and stainless steel).
• Technical Skills: Ability to read basic blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
• Bonus Points: Completion of a welding school program, or prior experience operating a laser cutter is a huge plus!

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schiller Park, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
