IT Support Engineer, Ops Tech Solutions - Niagara Falls

Salary: $52,000 - 85,280 per year Requirements:

• We require a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• We need at least 2 years of professional experience.
• We expect 2+ years of troubleshooting experience in a multi-user, high-availability environment.
• We require 2+ years of networking experience, including DNS, DHCP, SSL, the OSI model, and TCP/IP.
• We need 2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and decommissioning.
• We require at least 1 year of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• We expect fluency in Cisco/networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft environments.
• We require a current, valid drivers license.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Linux (Red Hat), Microsoft hardware installation, AWS, or similar are preferred.
• Experience handling multiple projects, with strong prioritization, planning, and time management skills is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are preferred.
• Data center infrastructure and facilities experience is preferred.
• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply is preferred.
• Proven success working with limited supervision is preferred.

• We provide network engineering, troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration across diverse software and hardware environments.
• We keep infrastructure networking and computing systems available throughout production hours.
• We work with management and staff to deliver analytical and technical support that improves IT solutions.
• We manage local technical projects from start to finish.
• We maintain or develop policies, procedures, and operational processes.
• We identify root causes behind operational disruptions and inefficiencies.
• We support customers across multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote users.
• We travel within our local or regional area to support customers.
• The role also involves physical activity such as lifting up to 49 lbs, standing, and walking during shifts of up to 12 hours.
