Investment Analyst Basic

Kforce has a client in Newark, DE that is seeking an experienced Asset Reference Data Analyst to join our Reference Data Operations team. The team serves as a center of excellence for securities and instrument reference data, delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely data to multiple lines of business under a standardized operating model. Summary: The Asset Reference Data Analyst will be responsible for sourcing, validating, mastering, and distributing instrument and asset reference data from major external market data providers. This critical data supports a broad range of business functions, including trading, risk management, fund valuation, settlement, and regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and timely delivery of reference data to internal stakeholders while partnering closely with Technology and Operations Change teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation. Key Responsibilities:

• Source, analyze, validate, and maintain securities and asset reference data from external market data providers
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of high-quality reference data to internal business and operational stakeholders
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, exceptions, and quality issues in accordance with established procedures and service-level requirements
• Perform detailed analysis of instrument attributes and identify data inconsistencies or gaps
• Work closely with Technology and Operations Change teams to implement process improvements and enhance data management capabilities
• Support automation and innovative solutions, including the use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, to improve data quality, efficiency, and operational controls
• Partner with technology teams on change requests, system enhancements, and implementation of new reference data solutions
• Strong knowledge of securities/reference data management and financial markets operations
• Understanding of Middle Office, Trade Support, Settlements, and Corporate Actions processes
• Experience with security setup and maintenance, including coupon, rate fixing, factor, and other security attribute updates
• Proficiency in using Bloomberg and Reuters for financial data research and validation
• Strong data analysis, research, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage data exceptions, rejects, and operational queries within defined timelines
• Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines
