Registered Respiratory Therapist - ICU, ER, NICU

Location: Biddeford, ME

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with guaranteed weekly hours of 36.

Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care in the ICU, ER, NICU, and Med Surge floors, with specific duties including:

• Utilizing advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment such as Drager V500, Hamilton T-1, and neopuff.
• Attending high-risk C-sections and participating as a member of the resuscitation team.
• Administering mechanical ventilation and emergency interventions for pediatric patients in the ER.
• Monitoring, assessing, and documenting patient respiratory needs using the EPIC documentation system.
• Collaborating closely with medical personnel across multiple departments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar critical care environment.
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Experience in NICU and/or PICU is preferred.
• Strong assessment skills with a capability to work effectively under pressure.
