Job Overview The eCommerce Analytics team collaborates with eCommerce Product and Strategy teams to build analyses that enhance the experience for millions of customers across cart, checkout, account, and login flows. The role demands close partnership with Product Managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive improvements at the scale of Walmart’s website. Responsibilities Partner with PMs, engineers, managers, and business partners to elevate the website experience across verticals. Work with engineering to enforce, document, validate, and expose logging and metrics. Craft reliable data pipelines and automated reporting for metric visibility. Identify, translate, prioritize, and communicate critical product questions using data. Design, construct, and maintain ETL pipelines for the analytical data warehouse. Explore statistical methods to uncover actionable insights and inform product decisions through funnels, time‑trend analyses, and segmentation. Build intuitive dashboards and generate daily reviews. Collaborate with engineering, UX, product, and web growth teams to iterate new products and site capabilities at scale. Provide and support implementation of business solutions using data modeling, SQL (Square), and warehouse expertise. Leverage SQL fluency and deep statistical analysis expertise to meet project goals. Assist with significant checkout experience upgrades and optimizations. Qualifications Enjoy working with large, complex, multi‑dimensional datasets. Experience with data ingestion techniques. Designed and advanced ETL data pipelines. Standardized and automated ETL processes using scripting and reporting. Worked with big data and Hadoop technologies. Written Hive queries to retrieve data from complex sources. Experience with facts modeling and data warehousing. Proficiency in SQL and understanding of statistical analysis and pitfalls. Skilled in building dashboards and automating reports. Strong analytical mindset to uncover actionable insights through funnels, long‑term trends, and segmentation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data, or a related discipline. 1–12 months of experience in data analytics or related discipline, OR 3 years of experience in data analytics. Preferred Qualifications Analytics experience in retail operations. Experience with in‑database analytics, SAS, SQL, or comparable programming languages. Ability to retrieve, merge, and cleanse data from multiple resources. Benefits & Compensation Pay range: $104,000–$156,000 annually.
