Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience with psycho-educational assessments and creating IEPs
- Skilled in providing group and individual counseling for students
- Strong understanding of behavioral interventions and crisis management
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Experience in the school setting highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to support special education eligibility and individualized plans
- Provide direct support through counseling, intervention, and crisis response
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on social, emotional, and behavioral matters
- Assist with development and implementation of positive behavioral supports
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
