Schedule: Based on assigned school site
- High School Hours: 7:20 AM - 1:50 PM
- Elementary School Hours: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Standard Elementary Hours: 9:20 AM - 1:50 PM
Position Overview
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a full-time school-based opportunity. This role focuses on evaluation and consultation responsibilities and does not include direct student counseling or therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
- Complete classroom and student observations as needed.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare evaluation reports.
- Participate in eligibility and evaluation determination meetings.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings.
- Participate in Manifestation Determination Review (MDR) meetings when required.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and compliance with special education regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Active state School Psychologist certification/licensure.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and IEP processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
