Carpenter Position

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Carpenters for a project in Pensacola, FL. We are looking for dependable candidates with hands-on carpentry experience who can work safely, follow instructions, and contribute to a productive jobsite.

Pay: $25–$27 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: First shift, 12–16 hours per day

Carpenter Responsibilities

• Install temporary plywood barriers over door and window openings to secure the building
• Assemble, erect, and repair structural frameworks
• Install windows, doors, interior trim, cabinetry, insulation, drywall, and other building materials
• Perform finish carpentry and trim work as needed
• Hang and finish drywall as needed
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment, including power saws, hammers, and measuring tapes
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings when required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Carpenter Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction
• Experience with trim work, finish carpentry, or drywall installation is a plus
• Ability to safely use common carpentry tools and equipment
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus
• Must provide your own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work extended shifts as required by the project
