About the Position

Job Title: RN Float Pool Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Acute Critical Care Duration: Full Time Shift: Night Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care Units required License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required Must-Have: - BSN degree - Must be comfortable floating to various units including ICU, ER, and MedSurg - ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required through the American Heart Association Description: RN nights (7pm - 7am) with every other weekend and holiday rotations. Must be cross-trained for multiple units (MedSurg, ICU, ER). Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Enhances the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills. Must possess computer literacy. Demonstrates customer focus consistent with professional conduct. Ensures safety, promotes dignity, respect, and well-being. Exemplifies healthy relationships within the team. Knowledgeable in the principles of growth and development across the lifespan. Ability to assess and interpret patient data for age-specific needs. Provides appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.
