Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) night shift position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring at least 2 years of experience in high-volume, complex care environments. Requirements Active RN license - Georgia (GA) or Compact license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Experience in high-acuity, high-volume hospital environments with complex and diverse cases required Background in large-scale trauma or high-pressure clinical settings required Responsibilities Work in a step-down/intermediate care unit (7L IMCU) within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center Unit census of 16-20 beds with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Patient population includes sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week Block scheduling is not approved on most units Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month No on-call responsibilities This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center known for complex, fast-paced, and high-volume care - candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals are not likely to be considered Local candidates are accepted for this position References are not required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-735528 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
