Business Development Associate
Cover Whale is rapidly expanding and we are looking for an additional Business Development Associate to increase premium production in North East region. You'll oversee a portfolio of established and newly onboarded partners, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience while helping them grow and succeed. You'll also define strategies for your partner portfolio and provide key business insights during quarterly reviews. If you're passionate about building partnerships, owning outcomes, and creating impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Day-to-day responsibilities are to:
- Manage a portfolio of emerging and lower-volume partners, building strong relationships and driving growth.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Marketing, and Growth teams to grow distribution and partner premium.
- Identify opportunities to expand engagement with existing partners and support new partner development.
- Research target markets, prospective partners, and competitive trends to strengthen the pipeline.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
- Continuously improve partner onboarding, business development, and account management processes.
- Represent Cover Whale through partner outreach and regional events, helping strengthen our brand and relationships.
- Monitor partner performance, proactively identifying opportunities and escalating risks when needed.
- Maintain accurate partner records and activity in HubSpot
