Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule, with 12-hour shifts from either 3P-3A or 7P-7A on a rotating basis. The work week consists of 36 hours, with a weekend requirement of one shift per contracted week or two shifts every other weekend. Candidates must be available to work at least one holiday during their contract duration.

Job Description

Join our experienced and collaborative team in a high-acuity Emergency Department featuring 80 treatment spaces. This role emphasizes high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency services in the area’s first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Documenting care using the EPIC charting system
• Participating in ongoing education and training in specialized areas of emergency care

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience in a similar role
• Active NY RN license
• Current certifications in NIH and AHA BLS
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates
