Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Nights

Schedule

This position requires a night shift with a 12-hour rotation from 3 PM to 3 AM or 7 PM to 7 AM. The role includes a weekend commitment of one shift per contracted week or two shifts every other weekend. Additionally, at least one holiday must be worked per contract.

Job Description

Join a high-acuity Emergency Department that features 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. The team is experienced, collaborative, and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency services as the area's first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in the delivery of specialized geriatric emergency services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in an emergency department setting.
• Active NY RN license is required.
• NIH and AHA BLS certifications are required.
• Two years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
