Director of Logistics

Metric are partnering with a leading Food & Beverage Manufacturer to recruit a Logistics Director to lead transportation, warehousing, and supply chain operations across a complex manufacturing network. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, improving logistics performance, and developing strategies that support business growth while delivering exceptional service levels. Key Responsibilities Lead transportation, warehousing, and logistics operations. Develop and execute supply chain and distribution strategies. Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage carrier and 3PL relationships. Optimise inventory flow and distribution performance. Lead and develop high-performing logistics teams. Ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the network. Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, procurement, and customer service functions. Requirements 5+ years in logistics and supply chain leadership within food & beverage manufacturing, with proven experience leading transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations. Strong background in transportation, logistics, supply chain, and warehousing. Experience leading multi-site distribution or manufacturing logistics operations. Track record of delivering operational improvements and cost savings. Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
