Rural Healthcare Transformation Business Project Manager - Limited Service

DAIL is seeking a Business Project Manager to lead the Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Project—a high‑impact initiative shaping the future of care across Vermont. The RHT Business Project Manager position is a key position in the DAIL Commissioner's Office and will be accountable for leading DAIL's RHT projects, including expanding LNA training in Vermont and expanding nursing home capacity to provide ventilator and dialysis services, as part of Vermont's larger RHT Plan. The RHT Business Project Manager Will Engage extensively with nursing homes and key partners Lead and manage complex projects from planning through implementation Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and reporting efforts Collaborate across agencies to drive progress and alignment Supervise a grants manager Contribute to meaningful system‑level improvements in long‑term care What We’re Looking For Strong ability to ensure accountability Action‑oriented mindset with a focus on results Skilled collaborator who builds effective, lasting partnerships Excellent communication skills across multiple formats and audiences Proven ability to manage complex projects Deep project management expertise Ability to optimize work processes and drive efficiency Who May Apply This position, Rural Healthcare Transformation Business Project Manager – Limited Service (Job Requisition #54851), is open to all state employees and external applicants. It is a Limited Service position, which is non‑tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs. Environmental Factors Work is performed in a standard office setting, but some travel may be required.
