Job Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician trained in Emergency Medicine, specifically an ABEM-certified individual, to become a part of our Emergency Medicine Department. Our facilities include UHS Wilson Medical Center, recognized as a Level II Trauma Center and a designated Stroke Center, along with UHS Binghamton General Hospital, a comprehensive healthcare facility that features a designated Crisis Center. Together, these hospitals handle approximately 60,000 emergency department visits annually, supported by two dedicated teams operating within a seven-mile radius.

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients.
• Engage in teaching opportunities for residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• ABEM certification preferred.

This position is located in Binghamton, NY, which is situated 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour south of Syracuse. Binghamton is a vibrant college town with a strong healthcare presence, offering a safe and welcoming environment. The community features nearby lakes, ski resorts, golf courses, wineries, a symphony orchestra, and an opera company.

The role offers a competitive starting salary of $499,200, along with a generous sign-on bonus and annual bonus incentives. Additional benefits include moving expenses and a comprehensive benefits package, which features a robust retirement plan.
