Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to ensure safe working practices throughout the plant by adhering to safety policy requirements, proactive safety management, applying risk reduction actions, and taking a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe behaviors. You will support developing an engaged and participatory workforce that functions effectively as a team to achieve our common goals. Setting clear expectations for product quality is crucial, applying robust training and assessment methods, developing standardized work practices, embracing continuous improvement initiatives, and using data to drive process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop labor utilization plans to achieve targeted cost of production goals.
- Own the shift production plan and work to deliver On Time In Full (OTIF) levels at >95%.
- Achieve daily and weekly output targets across each production cell.
- Implement strong people management actions to achieve a reliable and competent team, acting where under-performance is observed.
- Champion operational excellence within the manufacturing areas and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize technology and IT systems to support production improvements.
- Maintain self-motivation with a strong work ethic and an ability to follow the plan.
- Be assertive and manage people to achieve high standards.
- Employ good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Apply understanding of people management techniques.

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a production supervision role

- 10 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
