Schedule & Pay 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 3:15 PM ; Friday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM Salary Grade C $19.20 - $22.40 Job Summary The Drawer Fabricator II is responsible for performing all of the functions of the Drawer Fabricator I and a wide variety of other processes in the fabrication of cabinet drawers. Job Duties Reviews paperwork, prioritizes work and assures that drawers as well as parts are consistent with paperwork. Sets up and operates chop saws to cut drawer fronts, sides and backs. Sets up and operates dovetailers. Sets up drawer fronts, sides and backs in preparation for assembly. Glues and assembles drawers as well as puts through press. Sands and drills drawers as needed. Assembles drawers including stapling bottoms, attaching drawer guides, attaching stiffeners, file bars, etc. Inspects drawers for flaws or defects and takes defective drawers to the Drawer Administrator. Assures all accessories are with drawers i.e., spice rack, cutlery tray, etc. and takes drawers to appropriate area upon completion.
