About the Clinic Casa Grande Animal Hospital is looking to add a quality team member. Our clinic is located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson. It is a quick 25 min drive from the Chandler area. Our clinic has been serving the community since 1962. We are a full‑service animal hospital providing veterinary care to dogs, cats and large farm animals. We offer services such as wellness vaccines, sick exams, emergency services, surgical services, x‑rays, ultrasound and farm calls. Receptionist Responsibilities Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts We are open Mon‑Sat 8AM‑6PM, schedules are usually 7:30AM‑6PM, 8AM‑6PM or 9AM‑7PM Check in and check out clients Dispense prescription items per Vet instructions Schedule appointments Phone skills to make calls and assist with scheduling Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner Use Avimark to add documentation and update client records Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets and other teammates Demonstrate ability to show empathy toward clients and treat pets with compassion and respect Responsibilities / Qualifications Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures Experience with Avimark is preferred Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments Possession of organizational skills Critical thinking – Understanding logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Short Term Disability Paid Time Off – for eligible positions only Discounted Veterinary Care EAP (Employee Assistance Program) A large network of over 2,000 veterinary professionals who all share common interest in promoting a collaborative working environment and individual career growth 6 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays Opportunity to make an impact in your community NVA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
