Job Description
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Insurance verifications, claims submission, claim denial follow-up, processing insurance and patient payments, patient statements and managing patient accounts.
Answer provider insurance and billing questions.
Review all patient and insurance AR reports
Process insurance authorizations and appeals.
Communication with patients on insurance issues and balances when necessary.
Credentialing applications
1-3 years of medical billing experience in a medical practice or billing company required.
Experience with practice management programs and payer websites required.
Hours Mondays through Fridays
