About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Investment Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Banker to win new clients and enhance existing relationships through expert advisement on investment solutions. This includes conducting in-depth investment reviews, developing tailored investment policy statements, and providing guidance on asset allocation. The role also involves closing sales of complex investment products, coordinating sales efforts with various financial advisors, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private banking or financial services, with a focus on wealth management, and be adept at building and maintaining excellent working relationships with both clients and internal teams. Applicants for the Executive Director, Investment Specialist position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or CFA preferred) and hold Series 7, 66, and Insurance licenses, or be willing to obtain them within 90 days of starting. A minimum of 10 years' experience in the industry is required, with a demonstrated understanding of wealth management, including credit, deposits, trust, and financial planning. The role also requires extensive experience in providing complex investment solutions, particularly in the areas of hedge funds, private equity, and alternative investments. The candidate should be skilled in sales, with the ability to profile clients, overcome objections, negotiate, and close sales.
