Senior Relationship Manager, Vendor Finance

Position Overview Senior Relationship Manager, Vendor Finance – Canon Financial Services, Burlington, NJ. Full‑time, hybrid schedule. Responsibilities include growing the Vendor Finance dealer network, managing existing dealer relationships, handling client interactions, negotiating and preparing documentation, and exceeding sales volume, application activity, and sales activity goals. Responsibilities Expand the Vendor Finance dealer network and solicit new business. Engage with dealers to understand decision‑making processes and uncover company needs. Use persuasive sales techniques to onboard new dealers to CFS leasing services. Communicate financing needs to management and update on market conditions. Provide solutions to dealers and customers by offering CFS financing services. Assist dealers in efficiently using the CFS funding platform. Demonstrate selling and service activities quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Increase new business volume and application activity in existing accounts. Collaborate with team members, share best practices, and deliver excellent service. Maintain strong relationships with dealership counterparts. Organize and maintain training materials, records, and spreadsheets. Track sales calls and opportunities using Salesforce. Support dealer sales efforts with marketing materials and promotions. Continuously learn CFS systems, methods, and processes. Use sales campaigns, quarterly promotions, and other tools to enhance relationships. Deliver webinars, virtual presentations, and sales talks to external dealers and customers. Provide accurate weekly sales forecast updates and support department projects. Participate in industry trade shows, dealer meetings, and partner events. Represent Canon professionally to reinforce brand reputation. Train dealers on lease products, promotions, and general lease processes. Document all transactions in Nexus and other CFS systems. Support the sales cycle by preparing lease documentation for customer signatures. Develop relationships directly with customers to encourage repeat business. Maintain high service levels following policies and procedures. Escalate transaction issues promptly to management. Collaborate with internal teams (Credit, Customer Service, Pricing, Tax, etc.) to provide documentation and support lease transactions, collections, and issue resolution. Use T‑Value software and HP financial calculator to price lease transactions. Educate newer team members and demonstrate proactive sales approach. Grow and develop the Vendor Finance territory. Support department and company projects, including change‑management initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Proven relationship management skills in the leasing industry. 3+ years of dealer finance sales experience. 5+ years of transactional finance experience. Proficiency with financial structures and leasing programs. Strong command of credit concepts. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Proficient in Salesforce, Nexus, Leasewave, TValue, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools. Ability to travel up to 10% for trade shows, dealer visits, and customer visits; up to 50% nationwide as required. Clean, valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Compensation Annual base salary range: $92,210 – $138,080. Eligible for commissions under applicable plan.
