Senior Accountant - M&A & PE Platform (Direct CFO Visibility)

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to serve as a key right hand to the CFO. Unlike standard corporate accounting roles focused solely on routine month-end close, this role gives you a front-row seat to active deal integrations, buy-side purchase accounting, and PE portfolio reporting. Key Responsibilities M&A & Deal Integration: Partner with executive leadership on post-acquisition accounting, opening balance sheet entries, and integrating newly acquired entities into our reporting platform. Lead month-end close processes including fixed assets, treasury, debt structures, accrued liabilities, and ASC 842 lease accounting. Help elevate internal controls, optimize working capital, and build institutional-grade reporting frameworks for our PE sponsors and external auditors. Support cross-functional finance initiatives, technical US GAAP accounting research, and process automation to support rapid scaling. Candidate Qualifications 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally starting in public accounting (Big 4, top national, or top regional firm). Active CPA license, or actively on the CPA track (passed exam sections preferred). Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong foundation in US GAAP, financial reporting, and complex close management. Curiosity to master M&A deal accounting and ASC 842.
