2KB Energy Services is looking for an outgoing, data-driven person who is enthusiastic about energy efficiency and excited to build a long-lasting career driving sustainability! As a full-time Business Development Analyst with our Dunwoody, GA office, you'll research markets to identify fitting partners and new profitable opportunities within the space.

Depending on experience, you'll earn $50,000 - $60,000/year . You'll also enjoy our full-time benefits package , including:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent relevant experience) in a field such as business, marketing, engineering, sustainability, public policy, or environmental studies
• Demonstrated interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, decarbonization, public infrastructure, or related areas
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for researching information, evaluating sources, and translating data into actionable recommendations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for preparing/delivering professional emails, presentations, and client-ready materials
• Organizational skills for managing multiple deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and following through with priorities in a small-business environment
• Comfort using Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), online research tools, a CRM, project management systems, and procurement intelligence tools
• Curious mindset with the ability to exercise sound judgement, act with discretion, and ask thoughtful questions
• Collaborative team spirit and comfort coordinating with coworkers, clients, and external partners
• Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, client events, and partner development events as needed

We would prefer that our Business Development Analyst have some experience or education regarding business development/capture, proposal coordination, consulting, market research, sustainability, or a similar area, but it's not required. Familiarity with procurement processes (government, education, municipal, commercial, etc.), energy efficiency, renewable energy, climate planning, or building performance would be helpful. The ideal candidate is also experienced with CRMs, market intelligence platforms, and procurement databases.

THE IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE AS OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

When you first join our team, you'll work closely with our CEO and senior-level leaders to gain your footing in the role, develop your knowledge of our company, and refine your market research/business capture strategies. We'll provide you with established templates to support your success as you actively seek out, identify, and evaluate business opportunities that align with our growth objectives. This involves monitoring procurement platforms, market trends, policy developments, and client activity to uncover potential opportunities or partners. You will prepare thoughtful opportunity assessments, maintain detailed account plans and relationship maps, research industry competitors and relevant decision-makers, and accurately track your activities within the CRM. Data entry is a key part of the role, and you'll maintain accurate opportunity, value, relationship, owner, and additional records.

Over time, you'll help develop our business pipeline to secure more jobs and expand our ability to serve clients' needs. You'll develop relationships by drafting professional correspondence, preparing meeting briefs, and following up with involved parties to keep communication open. Attentive to detail, you'll assist with capture and proposal activities by organizing requirements, gathering qualifications, coordinating source materials, and ensuring compliance with all needs. The Business Development Analyst also maintains collateral, analyzes business development activity, identifies patterns, and determines strategies for continually improving and optimizing our processes. You'll also research industry trends and market strategies to help optimize your client success.
