Medical Scribe
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a busy orthopedic practice, the part-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties remotely, ensuring provider effectiveness and improved patient flow during shifts from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Key responsibilities: Preparing and assembling medical record documentation to support healthcare providers Entering the patient room virtually to capture and transcribe medical record documentation using electronic medical record applications Updating all components of the patient's medical record at the direction of the physician, including clinical information and lab results Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 3 - 6 months of previous Medical Scribe experience Previous experience with EPIC electronic medical record systems Typing speed of 45+ WPM Residency in an approved state for virtual work with ProScribe
