Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Maintenance Technician Floater in Ontario, CA!

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $25+/hr based on experience
• Schedule: Floating position - Primary shift will be 2nd Shift - could be placed on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as required and may include weekends. Will work 8hr-10hr shifts based on the needs of the business.
• 1st Shift - Mon-Thu 4am to 12:30pm or longer
• 2nd Shift - Tue-Fri 3pm-11:30pm or longer
• 3rd Shift - Fri-Sun 4am-12:30pm or longer; Mon 3pm-1am or longer

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues

Responsibilities

• Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and trouble shooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment
• Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined
