Physician PulmonologyEnglewood Health is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Pulmonologist to join our growing practice in Bergen County. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, collaborative care, and delivering high-quality pulmonary services.About the Opportunity:Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team of four (4) pulmonologists.Manage a diverse patient population with complex pulmonary needs.Build strong patient relationships and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.Schedule: On-call shared amongst the providers. 4th weekend on call (Fri 5pm – Mon 8am). One to two (1-2 days) of weekday calls 5pm-8am.Ability to adapt to evolving clinical practices and integrate new technologies.Comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision/dental/prescription, FSA, retirement plan, life insurance, malpractice insurance, generous paid time off (PTO), tuition assistance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Fitness discount/Gym reimbursement program, and more…What your day will look like:Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of pulmonary conditions including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep-related breathing disorders.Interpret pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and sleep studies.Perform bronchoscopies and other pulmonary procedures (if applicable).Manage inpatient consults and admissions (if hospital work is included).Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, respiratory therapists, and care coordinators.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice development.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.Qualifications:MD/DO degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of an accredited Pulmonary Medicine fellowshipBoard Certified (ABOG) or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine (must become BC within a five (5) year timeline per Medical Staff bylaws)Eligible for New Jersey Medical LicensureDEA and NJ CDS registrationCurrent BLS, and ACLS certificationWhy Join Us:Top-ranked #2 Hospital in New Jersey#1 in Bergen County for Quality, Safety & Patient ExperienceJust 10 minutes from New York CityAccess to world-class dining, culture, entertainment and recreationEnglewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees.
