Project Manager

Signtech Electrical Advertising Inc. seeks project managers to join our successful project management team in San Diego. Ideal candidate wants to be part of a dynamic team, has a desire to become one of the best project managers in the sign industry, and play an integral role in the success of our company.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• This position requires well-organized, detail-oriented planners who can multi-task and operate efficiently and effectively in a collaborative environment
• Candidate must have demonstrated the ability to plan and execute a detailed project effectively from design through installation, including project schedule and cost status
• Works closely and provides direction to internal project teams and departments
• Communicates effectively to clients, contractors and consultants
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and meet specified gross profit
• Manage day to day aspects of a group of projects. This will include the full scope of work which includes bidding, design, engineering, manufacturing, shipping, installation and project closeout

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in project management, construction management or within an industry related field
• Able to review and understand blueprints, site drawings and architectural documents
• Experience in sign or manufacturing industries preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in project management, operations management or construction management
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability and willingness to travel both locally and to project sites throughout the US and Canada. Able to work overtime as required
• Knowledge of software applications (e.g. MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Bilingual candidates desired, but not required
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
