Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Welding experience is required.
• 5+ years mechanical assembly experience is required.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 requirements and continuous improvement methods.
• Willingness to travel 10-50% of the month, with extensive travel as needed.
• Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive to customer sites.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid CDL license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have initiative and ability to work effectively with little direction and/or few guidelines.
• Excellent analytical, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and provide technical assistance.
• Provide customer preventative maintenance (PM) service and on-site customer warranty work.
• Perform equipment start-up for larger sifter equipment and other major installations.
• Rebuild and maintain centrifuge RTAs and other specialized equipment.
• Maintain field test equipment.
• Create and maintain an open and effective communication system between field sales, customer service, and sales management.
• Troubleshoot equipment and repair to meet customer expectations.
• Provide technical assistance via phone or other forms of communication.
• Provide application, modification, and warranty information on equipment.
• Complete technical product reports regarding product problems encountered.
• Provide sales support for visiting customers to conduct field tests on equipment as requested.
• Plan and establish work schedule and assignments to meet customer demands.
• Perform field testing along with quality and safety audits as requested.

Nice to Have:

• Welding certification and/or trade school completion is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and electrical background is preferred.
