Job Title: Deskside Support Technician L2
Location: Coral Springs, FL 33065
Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Deskside Support Technician L2 to provide onsite technical assistance to end users in Coral Springs, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring a seamless user experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues escalated from Level 1 support
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS) and standard business applications
Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory
Support email and collaboration tools including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
Perform system imaging, deployment, and patch management using tools such as SCCM or similar
Troubleshoot basic networking issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
Document incidents, resolutions, and processes in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices
Provide excellent customer service and user training when required

Required Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of experience in deskside or desktop support L2
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, and common enterprise applications
Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and device setup
Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and ticketing systems
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
Experience with remote support tools and endpoint security solutions
Familiarity with imaging and deployment tools
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell) is a plus
