Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical EngineerInsight Global is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the commercialization and manufacturing scale-up of a complex robotic platform. This individual will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams to bridge the gap between product development and commercial production as the organization prepares for significant growth and market expansion. This engineer will be working in a senior capacity supporting new product introductions, ensuring manufacturability and process improvement for quicker builds where possible. They will be involved with root cause analysis efforts, manufacturing readiness activities, engineering change implementation, and documentation updates while helping ensure product and process stability during a critical phase of commercialization. The ideal candidate brings a combination of strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, NPI experience, manufacturing acumen, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have experience supporting products through development, validation, and commercialization, along with the mechanical intuition necessary to quickly assess problems, interpret engineering documentation, and drive technical solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and contributing to the successful launch and scale-up of cutting-edge medical technology.
