Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant provides support to the dentist during patient care and completes the preparation of the room and dental tools/equipment. The Dental Assistant complete intake paperwork, update patient records, sterilize and organize dental tools, and assist during any dental procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent

• Current License/Certificate within state of practice

• One year experience as Dental Assistant preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Modality: Parttime Dental Assistant

Setting: Jail/Corrections

Location: Boulder, CO

Pay: $27/hr

Hours: part time, ~8 hours/week

Shift: Looking for someone ideally available Mondays, potentially open to Fridays depending on schedule

Responsibilities: Ordering supplies, monitoring kites, extractions, more acute dental care. Need someone who feels comfortable working independently.

Start: 10/5 - ideally this week

Training/Shadowing: first ~3 weeks if starting on time

Duration: 26 weeks, longer preferred!
