Be the difference.This job performs duties necessary to treat patients in accordance with the physicians' orders and department policy. Performs all procedures under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Therapy Technician. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.Performs respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with the physician's order, departmental policy, and the Respiratory Care Guidelines (RT Consult). May not take verbal orders or modify orders.Documents and charges for respiratory care procedures and provides patient and family education as appropriate.Communicates well with supervisors, therapists and technicians. Provides a complete and accurate reportMay perform blood gasses from all sites. Analyzes and reports results accuratelyAdheres to infection control and quality initiatives. Performs appropriate cleaning/disinfection and sterilization of equipment between patients as indicated by equipment type and isolation status.Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilitiesThis is a non-management job that reports to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.Minimum RequirementsEducation - Currently enrolled in an approved school for respiratory care; OR new/recent graduates of a school of respiratory care who are awaiting credentialing.Experience - No experience required.Required Certifications, Registrations, LicensesBLSKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesNAWork ShiftDay (United States of America)LocationRichlandFacility1510 Richland HospitalDepartment15107135 Respiratory Care ServicesShare your talent with us!
